The W. C. Grant Company

W. C. Grant Company Incorporated has been in continuous operation since 1944. The company's founder, Winthrop C. Grant, started the company in Indianapolis, Indiana, manufacturing custom spray washers and ovens for the local metal industry.

In 1968, after Mr. Grant's death, the company was purchased and moved to a facility on Industrial Road in Fort Wayne, Indiana. The company continued the production of custom spray washers and ovens, and introduced their first direct-fired make-up air heater.

In 1978, W. C. Grant's first Fort Wayne employee purchased the company. The company continued to operate from the Industrial Road location until 1984, when it relocated to Edgewood Industrial Park on the northwest side of Fort Wayne. The company is now on its second generation of employee ownership, with 58 years of combined experience in the company.

Today, W. C. Grant continues to build custom industrial spray washers, ovens, paint booths, and make-up air heaters. W. C. Grant equipment is used in producing metal and plastic parts, custom and production painting operations, and the food industry.
